SIR-PNR1 Operation GuideSIR-PNR1 Operation GuideSIRIUS tunerSwitching the channelselect modeYou can switch if you select a channel with achannel number or from a channel categorywhen you select a channel.Initially, channel number select mode isselected.1 Press FUNCTION to select FUNC2.Press FUNCTION until FUNC2 appears in thedisplay.2 Press or to select the desiredchannel select mode.Press or repeatedly to switch betweenthe following settings:CHNUMBER (Channel number selectmode)—CATEGORY (Channel categoryselect mode)NoteDepending on the head unit you are using, itmay be possible to directly switch between thechannel select modes using the allocated but-ton. For details, refer to the head unit’smanual.Selecting the channel in thechannel categoryChannels are organized into various programcategories, e.g. Rock, Classic, Jazz. You cansearch between different categories, andthen search among channels within eachchannel category.1 Select the channel category selectmode. (Refer to “Switching the channelselect mode” above.)2 Press BAND to return to the previousdisplay.3 Press or to select the desiredchannel category.Once you select a channel category, the unitsearches for channels in that category.During search, the channel category doesn’timmediately change even if you press thebutton. To successively change the channelcategory, continue pressing the button.4 Press or to select the desiredchannel in the selected channel category.The channel number move up or down in theselected channel category.Channels that cannot currently be selectedare skipped, and the next channel in thatchannel category is selected.NoteIf you select a channel of another category bychannel recall, etc., during steps 3 and 4, thecategory selected in step 3 still remains inmemory. If you press or , the channel num-ber moves up or down in the category selectedin step 3 regardless of the category of the pre-sent channel.SIRIUS tunerIntroduction of advancedSIRIUS tuner operation Function displayShows the function status.
