And thenselect the [OPTICAL] option by pressing INPUT/TUNER and ENTER (b). Or press OPTICAL to selectdirectly.You can also use the FUNCTION button on the frontpanel to select the input mode.To the digitaloptical output jackof your componentRear of the unitHDMI IN 1/2 connectionYou can enjoy the pictures and sound from yourcomponent through this connection.Connect the HDMI OUT jack of your componentinto the HDMI IN 1 or 2 jack on this unit.
