If this happens, use thesupplied frame to fill the gap.Extend top and bottomofthe trim ringoutwards to remove the trim ring. Andthen loosen the screws(2mm x 3 mm) toremove the mounting sleeve.• When reattaching the trim ring, push thetrim ring onto the unit until it clicks. (Ifthe trim ringisattached upside down,the trim ring will not fit properly.)CDMounting sleeve(?)Screw(2mm x 3 mm)G)Trim ringInstalling themicrophone• Install the microphone in a place whereits direction and distance from the drivermake it easiesttopick up the driver'svoice .•Besuretoturnoff(ACCOFF)the productbefore connecting the microphone.• Depending on the vehicle model, themicrophone cable length may betooshort when you mount the microphoneon the sun visor. In suchcases,install themicrophone on the steering column.Mounting on the sunvisor1 Fit the microphone lead into thegroove.CDMicrophone lead(?)Groove2 Attach the microphone clip to the sunvisor.CDMicrophone clipW ClampsUseseparately sold clamps to securethe lead where necessary inside thevehicle.Install the microphone on the sun visorwhen itisin the up position.
