Please assist with battery recyclingThis product is equipped with a built-in recyclablelithium battery. When discarding this product, pleasefollowing the instructions noted below to remove thelithium-ion battery.DANGER[Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery]Please follow the instructions noted. Failure todo so may cause the built-in lithium-ion batteryto leak, overheat, ignite, or rupture.・Do not dispose of the device in fire or expose it toheat.・Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or alter it inany way.・Do not throw the device, strike it with a hammer orother object, or drive nails into it.・Do not use or leave the device in places where it willbe exposed to high temperatures, such as near astove or inside a closed automobile.・In the event that the built-in lithium-ion battery leaksfluid and the fluid contacts your eyes, do not rub them,but rinse with copious amounts of clean water andseek immediate medical treatment. Your eyes may beseriously harmed by exposure to such battery fluid.・Do not allow the battery to be immersed in fresh orsea water, or become otherwise wet.・Do not attempt to connect the device directly to an ACelectrical outlet, or the cigar lighter of an automobile.・Do not attempt to use the device’s lithium-ion batteryto power any other device.・Do not handle a lithium-ion battery that is leaking. Ifleaking battery fluid contacts your skin, wash quicklywith copious amounts of water.WARNING[Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery]・Do not place the device in a microwave oven orexpose it to high pressure, since the device mayoverheat, rupture, or ignite.・Do not place a leaking rechargeable lithium-ion batterynear a source of heat or fire, since the battery couldoverheat, rupture, or ignite.CAUTION[Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery]・Do not dispose of the device in fire or water, since therechargeable lithium-ion battery could rupture or leakbattery fluid, resulting in fire or personal injury.・To prevent accidents, store the lithium-ion battery outof the reach of young children. In the event the batteryis swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.・If fluid leaking from a rechargeable lithium-ion batterycontacts your skin or clothes, wash immediately withcopious amounts of clean water. If left unattended, askin rash could result.Removing the batteryPreparationThis procedure requires the tools listed below.Be sure to assemble the necessary items beforebeginning.・Ordinary flat-head (−) screwdriver・Ordinary Phillips(+) screwdriver・Precision (glasses) Phillips (+) screwdriver・Wire cutters (or scissors)CAUTION・The instructions provided here to “assist with batteryrecycling” are meant to allow the device’s built-inrechargeable lithium-ion battery to be removed at theend of the device’s service life, before final devicedisposal. The device’s warranty is invalidated themoment the device is opened.・In order to avoid short circuits, remove the battery onlyafter confirming that the battery’s storage capacity hasbeen fully depleted. Even when the power no longerturns on, some residual current remains in the battery.It is recommended to remove the lithium-ion batteryonly after leaving the device with the power turnedon for several days, to assure that the battery is fullydepleted.WARNING・Disconnect the AC adapter before performing theseprocedures.・Do not contact the touch sensor while performingthese procedures.・In the event that the power is turned on whileperforming these procedures, turn off the power andthen begin the procedures again.ENGLISH |
