OPERATIONPreparation:You will need to purchase a 1 pound propane cylinder beforeyou start to use.Connect the cylinder with the inner regulatorWarning:Always test the connection place leaks with soapy water.Any guard or protective device removed for servicing the heatermust be replaced prior to operation.Warning:Never use the heater while it is raining, the glass tube would break when itsuddenly met water.Always turn off the heater while there is a rain.Never splash any liquid to the glass tube when the heater is workingThe glass tube will be extremely hot when it is working, never try to touch it andKeep the children away from the heater.Always ensure the heater stands firmly, the glass tube may break if the heater wasfell down onto ground.Never use the heater if the glass tube has any crack●●●●●●LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONSCheck and ensure that an AA battery is inside the ignitionchamber and has power. EnsureThe anode (+) faces outside.Ensure that the control knob is OFF. Slowly open thegas cylinder valve.Press and turn the control knob to LIGHT position,push the igniter to generate spark while keeping controlknob in pressed positionCheck for pilot flame through glass tube. If pilot doesnot light, turn control knob to ‘OFF’ position wait twominutes minimum and try again from the start. Someattempts may be necessary.If the pilot alight, keep control knob pressed for 15seconds then turn the control knob to ‘LOW’.For maximum heat turn control knob to ‘HIGH’.To turn heater off, turn control knob to ‘OFF’.Close the vlave of the gas cylinder or the regulator afteruse.1.2.3.4.5.6.7.OFFLIGHTLOWHIGHOFFLOHIWARNINGFOR YOUR SAFETY:● DO NOT touch or move heater for atLeast 45 minutes after use.● Allow all burner elements to coolbefore touching.NOTE● In a salt-air environment (such as near anOcean) corrosion occurs more quickly thannormal.● Frequently check for corroded areas andRepair them promptly.● Wait until heater is cool before covering.- 10 -
