27n Connect the power supply.IMPORTANT:• The 12 V DC power supply shall be insulated from the commercial AC power.• The operating sound might be heard when the power is turned on, however it does not indi-cate any malfunction.When using 12 V DC power supply*q Loosen the screw of the power cord plug (accessory).w Connect the cable of the 12 V DC power supply* to thepower cord plug.Strip 3 mm to 7 mm {1/8 inches to 9/32 inches} from theend of the wire, and twist the stripped part of the wiresufficiently to avoid short circuit.Specification of cable (wire): 16 AWG - 24 AWGSingle core, twisted• Check whether the stripped part of the wire is notexposed and is securely connected.e Tighten the screw of the power cord plug.(Recommended tightening torque:0.34 N·m {0.25 lbf·ft})r Connect the power cord plug to the 12 V DC power sup-ply terminal on the rear of the camera.* ONLY CONNECT 12 V DC CLASS 2 POWER SUPPLY(UL 1310/CSA 223) or LIMITED POWER SOURCE (IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1).IMPORTANT:• Be sure to use the power cord plug provided with this product.• Be sure to fully insert the power cord plug into the 12 V DC power supply terminal.
