Initialize the cameraUse the DIP switch to initialize the camera.The DIP switch can be found when the base unit isdetached. ( page 19)Important:The settings including the network settings will beinitialized. Note that the preset position settings willnot be initialized.Step 1Detach the camera from the base unit. ( page 19)Step 2Set "1" of DIP switch to "ON".• The default positions of each DIP switch are OFF.• Put the protection sheet back into place as it wasafter setting to "ON".Step 3Attach the camera to the base unit. ( page 17)Step 4Turn on the power of the camera. ( page 14)• When the power LED (green) and the SD memorycard error LED (red) located next to the SD memo-ry card slot are blinking, the initialization is com-pleted.Step 5Turn off the power of the camera, and then detach thecamera from the base unit. ( page 19)Step 6Set "1" of DIP switch to "OFF".Important:When "1" of DIP switch is in the "ON" position, thecamera will not be operated in normal state. Makesure that "1" of DIP switch is in the "OFF" position.Step 7Attach the camera to the base unit. ( page 17)Step 8Turn on the power of the camera.
