5PrefaceThe network camera WV-NF284 is designed to operate using a PC on a network (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX).By connecting to a network (LAN) or the Internet, images and audio from the camera can bemonitored on a PC via a network. *1Features3.6x Varifocal lens provides variation of the angular field of view when installing the camera.Progressive scan CCD (Charge-Coupled Device)1/4 inch progressive scan CCD with VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) achieves high-fidelitymotion image scanning with high-resolution.JPEG/MPEG-4 dual encodeMPEG-4 images can be monitored while recording JPEG images.Power over Ethernet (IEEE802.3af compliant) function is featuredWhen connecting with a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device, power will be supplied by simplyconnecting a LAN cable.Audio monitoring is available using the built-in microphone.Audio captured by the built-in microphone can be monitored using a PC via a network.Wall mounting and ceiling mounting are available.The camera can be installed on a ceiling or a wall directly using the provided camera mountbracket.
