31 Operations Operating the InstrumentThe volume and frequency response of the hearing instrument should be adjusted by thedispenser where you purchased your hearing aid.The main volume and frequency response of the hearing instrument need to be adjusted to yourhearing loss. Consult your dispenser for proper fitting such as adjusting the frequency response (low/middle/high) or the left and right balance of the output speech.• If the battery indication flashes, rechargethe Panasonic rechargeable battery HHR-4AGA or replace it with a new alkalinebattery (P. 22-25).• If the hearing instrument emits a high-pitched squealor feedback, insert the earphone with microphone intothe ear again, or try the other size of the eartip.3 Select the mode1) Press and release the control dial to bring the hearing instrumentinto the selection mode.• The mode indicators below will flash.2) Rotate the control dial to choose the mode.3) Press and release the control dial to determine it.Standard(for normal use)Theater(for TV, music)Party(for noisy situations)Indoors(for quiet situations) * The volume will beautomaticallyadjusted accordingto the selectedmode.4 Turn off the hearinginstrumentSee “1.
