For user control please see p. 38.S-Video / black andwhite picture• Using AV button please confirm yourselection is S-Video I.e. AV2/AV2S(p. 14).On Screen messages- I.e. EC/AV1• You can simply clear these by pressingthe button .Press again to redisplay.No DVB programmesshown after Auto Setup• Check the DVB transmitter.• Adjust the direction of the aerial to anothertransmitter installed nearby.• Check the analogue broadcast.If the image quality is poor,check the aerial and consultyour nearest dealer.An error message appears• Follow the message’s instructions.• If the problem persists, contact theauthorized Service Centre.Direct TV record / Q-Linkfunctions not recording• Please confirm SCART cable and connection. Alsoplease set “AV1 / AV2 out” in the Setup Menu (p. 21).There may be red spots, bluespots, green spots and blackspots on the screen• This is a characteristic of liquid crystal panels and isnot a problem. The liquid crystal panel is built with veryhigh precision technology giving you fine picture details.Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on thescreen as a fixed point of red, green, blue or black.Please note this does not affect the performance of yourLCD.The LCD panel moves slightlywhen it is pushed with a fingerClattered sound might be heard• There are some looseness around the panel to preventthe damage to the panel.The panel might move slightly when it is pushed with afinger, and clattered sound might be heard. This is not amalfunction.To customer usingindoor aerialIn order to enjoy a good quality DVB image, it isimportant to receive a good quality DVB signal.For this purpose check “DVB Signal Condition”in Tuning Menu (p. 28). A level of at least 5 isrequired in order to provide a good picture. It maybe necessary to adjust the position and direction ofthe aerial to achieve the best possible result.
