Touse these additional functions, install the driver or application software of theexternal device by following the procedure below. However, once the driver orapplication software is installed, touch pad functions (e.g., auto scroll) may notoperate even if the touch pad is enabled (see the procedure for “When you wantto re-enable the touch pad.”).1 In [Control Panel] - [System] - [Device Manager], select [touch pad] in [Mouse],press [Remove] to delete it, then press [OK] to confirm the deletion.2 Power off your computer and connect the external mouse or trackball device tothe computer.3 Turn the power on and run the Setup Utility ( page 37).
