Because somecables may not correctly function, use the USB extensioncable supplied with the equipment.4Are strong light sources ordevices that use infraredrays located nearby?This equipment is a touch panel using infrared rays.Incident light containing infrared rays may hinderoperation of the touch panel.Sunlight: It is not a problem as long as the infraredtransmissive part of the touch panel is not directlyexposed to sunlight.Fluorescent light: It can be a problem because sometypes of fluorescent light (particularly inverter type)produce infrared rays.White candescent light: It can be a problem because itcontains much infrared rays. Keep as long a distanceas possible between the equipment and the lightsource, or prevent the infrared transmissive part frombeing directly exposed to the light.Device using infrared rays: Malfunction may occur ifa remote control or other device using infrared rays isused for the touch panel.–Has the OS been startedup? The noise affects the powersource and interface, and may cause malfunction.–
