Select this as WiredDevice if you are connecting via an ethernet.Internet Speed TestHighlight Internet Speed Test and press the OK but-ton. TV will check the internet connection bandwidthand display the result when complete.Advanced SettingsHighlight Advanced Settings and press the OKbutton. On the next screen you can change the IPand DNS settings of the TV. Highlight the desired oneand press Left or Right button to change the settingfrom Automatic to Manual. Now you can enter theManual IP and / or Manual DNS values. Select therelated item in the drop down menu and enter thenew values using the numeric buttons of the remote.Press the OK button to save settings when complete.Wireless ConnectivityTo Connect to a Wireless NetworkThe TV cannot connect to the networks with a hiddenSSID. To make your modem’s SSID visible, you shouldchange your SSID settings via the modem’s software.To Connect to a wireless LAN, you should performthe following steps:1. Ensure that Nero Media Home software isinstalled to your PC (for Audio Video Sharingfunction).2. To configure your wireless settings please refer tothe Network Settings section in the Setup Menu.BroadbandISPconnectionA Wireless-N router (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) withsimultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz bands is designed toincrease bandwidth. These are optimized for smootherand faster HD video streaming, file transfers andwireless gaming.• Use a LAN connection for quicker file sharingbetween other devices like computers.• The frequency and channel differ depending on the area.• The transmission speed differs depending on thedistance and number of obstructions between thetransmission products, the configuration of theseproducts, the radio wave conditions, the line trafficand the products that you use. The transmission mayalso be cut off or may get disconnected dependingon the radio wave conditions, DECT phones or anyother WiFi 11b appliances. The standard values ofthe transmission speed are the theoretical maximumvalues for the wireless standards. They are not theactual speeds of data transmission.• The location where the transmission is most effectivediffers depending on the usage environment.• The Wireless feature of the TV supports 802.11 a,b,g& n type modems. It is highly recommended that youshould use the IEEE 802.11n communication protocolin order to avoid any possible problems while watchingvideos.• You must change your modem’s SSID when there areany other modems around with the same SSID. Youcan encounter connection problems otherwise. Usea wired connection if you experience problems with awireless connection.Configuring Wireless Device SettingsOpen the Network Settings menu and select NetworkType as Wireless Device to start connection process.The TV will scan the wireless networks automatically.A list of available networks will be displayed. Pleaseselect your desired network from the list.Note: If the modem supports N mode, you should set Nmode settings.If the selected network is protected with a password,please enter the correct key by using the virtualkeyboard. You can use this keyboard via the directionalbuttons and the OK button on the remote control.Wait until the IP address is shown on the screen.This means that the connection is now established.To disconnect from a wireless network, highlightNetwork Type and press Left or Right buttons to setas Disabled.Highlight Internet Speed Test and press the OK buttonto check your internet connection speed. HighlightAdvanced Settings and press the OK button to openthe advanced setting menu. Use directional and numericbuttons to set. Press the OK button to save settingswhen complete.Other InformationThe status of the connection will be displayed asConnected or Not Connected and the current IPaddress, if a connection is established.
