31 Using sound effectsRQTX0089Using sound effects[Note]≥The following sound effects may not be available orhave no effect with some sources, or when headphonesare used (➜ 15).≥You may experience a reduction in sound quality whenthese sound effects are used with some sources. If thisoccurs, turn the sound effects off.PreparationTo display the picture, turn on the TV and select theappropriate video input mode.∫ EqualizerYou can select sound quality settings.Each time you press [3, 4]:HEAVY: Adds punch to rock.CLEAR: Clarifies higher sounds.SOFT: For background music.FLAT: Cancel (no effect is added).∫ Real Center Focus(Effective when playing audio containing centerchannel sound or when Dolby Pro Logic II is on.)You can make the sound of the center speaker seemlike it is coming from within the TV.R.C.FCS ON,------.R.C.FCS OFF∫ Surround EnhancerAutomatically adjusts each speaker to enhance thesurround sound effect of 5.1-channel audio.
