One jack supports bothvideo and audio information. The HDMI/HDCP 1 input canbe connected to an EIA/CEA 8612 compliant consumerelectronic device, such as a set top box or DVD playerequipped with an HDMI or DVI output connection. Byinputting a High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection(HDCP) high definition picture source to the HDMI terminalof this PTV, high definition pictures can be displayed on thescreen in their digital form. The HDMI input terminal is notintended to be used with personal computers. This PTV iscompatible with 1080i, 480p and 480i formats. The interface on the PTV is an HDMI Type Aconnector.• If the external device has a DVI output only, use a DVI toHDMI adaptor cable* 3 to connect to the HDMI jack onthe PTV. Also, connect the Audio Out signal from theexternal device (set top box or DVD player) to the AudioIn*4 jacks below the HDMI input.• If you cannot display the picture because your Digital SetTop Box does not have a Digital Out terminal setting, usethe Component Video Input (or the S-Video Input orVideo Input).
