PanasonicKX-TPA65Before you startWireless Telephone Set package content:Wireless Desk Phone KX-TPA65. Base Stationpackage content: Base station KX-TGP600 andEthernet cable.Attach the power adaptor to the Power supplystation and plug it in. Attach the Ethernetcable to the socket behind and attach theother end of this cable to an internet modem,router or switch socket designed for IPPhones. If your switch does not support PoE(Power on Ethernet), it is necessary to attachthe power adaptor to the Power supply stationand plug it in. Both adaptors are sold as anoptional accessory and will be added to theDesk Phone and Base Station packages.ATTENTION: Base Unit and Power SupplyStation have different power adaptors (6,5VBase Unit, 5,5V Power Supply Station). The firstlaunch of the phone can take up to 15 minutes,during which the phone is updated, andeventually reboots itself. Please do notdisconnect it from the power. The desk phoneKX-TPA65 can be registered up to 4 Base UnitsKX-TGP600. Up to 8 desk phones KX-TPA65 orhandsets KX-TGP60 can be TPA65 orhandsets KX-TGP60 can be registered to asingle Base Unit KX-TGP600. To add a newdesk phone or handset press and hold thelocation button (on the right side) on the Baseunit for about 3 seconds. The STATUSindicator will flash red. On a not registeredDesk phone, press and hold “OK” until“Please Wait …..” displays. After “Registered”is displayed on the LCD, the registration iscompleted. If the telephone is alreadyregistered to a Base station, do theregistration using the telephone menu. Afterthe phone is registered to the network, thedate and time appears. Everything is readyand you can start making calls. Right in thetelephone a list of contacts has been madeready for you to use, which is updated once aday. For additional settings use the web pageportal-uc.gtsce.com. To sing in, use theusername and password you received at thehandover.1. Making a CallTo make a call, lift the handset or press the"SP-PHONE" and dial the required telephonenumber. The call is cancelled by pressing a“Cancel” soft key.2. Speed DialTo set up the speed dialling, press and hold (0-9) button. Press "Menu" and select "Edit",enter the contact name and then the phonenumber. Then it is possible to select "AutoCall“, the phone number is dialled onprolonged holding, or "Manual", the phonenumber is dialled while lifting the handset orpressing the “SP-PHONE”.3. Telephone DirectoryWithin the Virtual PBX service there are threedifferent telephone directories: Enterprise,Enterprise-Common and Personal.Enterprise directory contains all active users ofthe company, external numbers cannot besaved here (e.g. employee mobile numbers orexternal partner telephone numbers). All usershave it read-only.Into the Enterprise-Common directory anynumber can be saved. For its administration itis necessary to log in to the portal-uc.gtsce.com portal as an administrator of acompany or branch. All other users have itread-only.Personal directory is intended for user privatecontacts and is available on all devices andUC-One applications. Administration (adding,editing or deleting items) can be done via theportal-uc.gtsce.com portal.4. Searching in the Telephone DirectoryAn item in the telephone directory can besearched by entering a name: Press the statusbutton „Tel. Directory“, and then select thetype of the directory and confirm by „OK“.Enter the name or the first letters of that nameand confirm „OK“. In T9 mode just press theKey once, the phone searches for all the itemscorresponding the letters below the key. Thismethod is significantly faster. Select therequired item and press „OK“. Select therequired telephone number and lift thehandset or press the “SP-PHONE” button tomake a call. Switching between the insertmodes can be done by clicking the right statusbutton.5. Call RegisterPress the “Outgoing log” soft key. Then a listof outgoing calls will appear. To display a listof incoming calls, press the “Incoming log”soft key. Scrolling through the list is doneusing the navigation buttons. Select an itemfrom the list to delete it. Press the “Menu” softkey. Select “Delete” and confirm “OK”. Thenselect “Yes” and again confirm “OK”. Todelete all items, select “Delete all” instead.
