Making/Answering CallsFor assistance, please visit http://www.panasonic.com/consumersupport 25Temporary tone dialing (for rotary/pulse service users)You can temporarily switch the dialingmode to tone when you need to accesstouch tone services (for example,answering services, telephone bankingservices, etc.).Press {*} (TONE) before entering accessnumbers which require tone dialing.Note:L The dialing mode will return to pulsewhen you hang up.Answering calls usingthe handsetWhen a call is being received, the ringerindicator flashes rapidly.1 Lift the handset and press {C} or {s}.L You can also answer a call bypressing any button except thejoystick or {OFF}. (Any key talkfeature)2 When finished talking, press {OFF} orplace the handset on the base unit orcharger.Auto talkThis feature allows you to answer a call bysimply lifting the handset off the base unitor charger. You do not need to press {C}.To activate this feature, see page 56.Temporary ringer offWhile the handset is ringing for an outsidecall, you can turn the ringer off temporarilyby pressing {OFF}. The handset will ringthe next time a call is received.
