The IP Gateway Card has internal DNS database capabilities that can contain amaximum of 511 units in the network. DNS database is owned jointly by all units in the network(therefore it is necessary to update every unit with the latest DNS database whenever thenetwork configuration is changed).For example numbering plan, refer to 1.2 Network Devices and Numbering Plan.4.3.1 Editing DNS Data*1 IP address-to-telephone number translation can also be handled by using an H.323 Gatekeeper device.
