Theaccount code is appended to the "Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR)" call record. Forincoming outside calls, account code are not required. For outgoing outside calls, you may berequired to enter an account code.Your Account Code Entry mode is set to one of the following three modes by SystemProgramming.In "Verified - All Calls" mode• You must always enter a system-registered account code to make an outside call.In "Verified - Toll Restriction Override" mode• You can override the Toll Restriction imposed on your extension by entering asystem-registered account code before making an outside call (Toll RestrictionOverride by Account Code Entry).In "Option" mode• You may enter any account code.One mode is selected for each extension on a "Class of Service *1 " basis.*1 Class of Service (COS) is used to define the features which are allowed for a group of extensions.
