5PreparationImportant InformationOnly use the power supply included withthe product.Do not connect the AC adaptor to anyAC outlet other than the standardAC220-240 V.The apparatus is approved for use withPQLV19AL power supply.This apparatus is unable to make callsunder the following conditions:• The portable handset batteries needrecharging, or have failed.• During a mains power failure.• When the Key Lock is set to ON.• When the unit is in Direct Call mode(only the Direct Call Number can bemade).Do not open the base unit or handset(other than to change the batteries).This apparatus should not be used nearemergency/intensive care medicalequipment and should not be used bypeople with pacemakers.Care should be taken that objects do notfall onto, and liquids are not spilled intothe unit.
