Useful Information62The handset stops working whilebeing used.L Disconnect the AC adaptor and turn off thehandset. Connect the AC adaptor, turn on thehandset and try again.While storing an entry in thephonebook or assigning a onetouch dial, the handset starts toring.L A call is being received. To answer the call, press{C}. Programming will be cancelled. Start again.Pressing q does notdisplay/dial the last number dialled.L The redialled number was more than 24 digits long.Redial the number manually.The handset beeps intermittentlyand/or 3 flashes.L Fully charge the batteries (page 11).I fully charged the batteries, but3 still flashes.L Clean the charge contact and charge again (page11).L It is time to replace the batteries (page 12).Caller information is not displayed. L You must subscribe to Caller ID service.L Your unit is connected to a telephone line with DSLservice. We recommend connecting a filter (contactyour DSL service provider) to the telephone linebetween the base unit and the telephone line jack.While viewing caller information,the display returns to standbymode.L Do not pause for over 1 minute while searching.I cannot register a handset to abase unit.L The maximum number of base units (4) are alreadyregistered to the handset. Cancel unused base unitregistrations from the handset (page 53).L The maximum number of handsets (6) are alreadyregistered to the base unit. Cancel unused handsetregistrations from the base unit (page 53).L You entered the wrong PIN number.
