Replacing the batteryUse this procedure when replacing thebattery after installation.1 Remove the sensor from themounting adaptor by pressing therelease lever, sliding the sensor upand lifting it away from themounting adaptor.2 Remove the front cover.3 Replace the battery with a newone.4 Attach the front cover.5 Attach the sensor to the mountingadaptor.R The sensor will click into placewhen it is secured.R Make sure the “UP” marks onthe back of the sensor and theinside of the mounting adaptorpoint in the same direction.Registering thesensorThis procedure is not required fordevices that were included as part ofa bundle.Before you can use the sensor, it mustbe registered to the hub.If you purchased devices separately(i.e., not as part of a bundle), you mustregister each device to the hub.You can register each device by usingthe registration buttons or the [HomeNetwork] app.Using registration buttons1 Hub:Press and hold M OTHERDEVICEN until the LED indicatorblinks slowly in green.2 Sensor:Remove the front cover, and thenpress and hold M N until theLED indicator blinks slowly ingreen (page 8).R When registration is complete,the hub sounds one long beep.Note:R To cancel without registering thesensor, press M N on the hub andon the sensor again.R If registration fails, the hub soundsseveral short beeps.Using the appWhen you register the sensor by usingthe [Home Network] app, you canassign it a name and location.
