Fax414.7 Junk fax prohibitor(preventing fax receptionfrom undesired callers)If you subscribe to Call Display service, thisfeature prevents fax reception from calls that donot show caller information.Additionally, faxes originating from numbers thatmatch a programmable junk fax prohibitor list willnot be accepted by the fax machine (page 41).Important:L This feature does not work when:– the unit is set to the TEL mode, or– manual reception is performed.4.7.1 Activating the junk faxprohibitor1 Press {JUNK FAX PROHIBITOR}.2 Press {>}.3 Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to select “ON”.4 Press {SET}.5 Press {STOP} to exit the program.Note:L While the junk fax prohibitor is activated, theJUNK FAX PROHIBITOR indicator is ON.4.7.2 Programming undesiredcallersYou can register up to 10 undesired numbersfrom the caller’s list (page 33) if you do not wishto receive faxes from them.1 Press {CALL DISPLAY SEARCH}.2 Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to display theentry you wish to prevent the fax receptionfrom.3 Press {JUNK FAX PROHIBITOR}.4 Press {SET}.L To program other entries, repeat steps 2to 4.5 Press {STOP} to exit the program.Note:L If there is no space to store new entries,“LIST FULL” is displayed in step 4. Press {>} repeatedly to display “JUNK LISTPRINT”.3. Press {SET}.4. Press {STOP} to exit the list.To erase an entry from the junk faxprohibitor list1. Press {JUNK FAX PROHIBITOR}.2.
