ASSEMBLYWARNING:To reduce the risk of injury, always re-move battery pack before changing theblade.Inspection before useHas the correct jigsaw blade been at-tached for the object to be cut?Has the correct stem shape and thick-ness of the blade been mounted?Check if the blade is fixed securely?Check if the blade is cracked or broken.Check that there are no foreign ob-jects in the object to be cut.Attaching and removing thereciprocating saw bladeCAUTIONBe sure to remove the battery pack beforeperforming the blade replacement proce-dure, which includes preparation, inspec-tion, and replacement steps.Failure to do so may result in an accident inwhich tool operation is triggered inadvert-ently.1. Rotate the locking sleeve.2. Insert the reciprocating saw blade whileholding the locking sleeve in the rotatedposition.The blade can be attached facing up ordown as appropriate for the type of workbeing performed.•••••3. Let go of the locking sleeve.• An integrated spring will return thesleeve to its position automatically,locking the reciprocating saw blade inplace.• Grip the back of the reciprocating sawblade and pull it two or three times toverify that it is securely attached.• Check that the temperature of theblade has dropped sufficiently, andthen remove the blade.Attaching or RemovingBattery Pack1. To connect the battery pack:Line up the alignment marks and attachthe battery pack.Slide the battery pack until it locks in-to position.Alignmentmarks2.
