ADDITIONAL SAFETYRULESSafety instructions for allsawsDANGER1) Keep hands away from cutting areaand the blade. Keep your second handon auxiliary handle, or motor housing.If both hands are holding the saw, theycannot be cut by the blade.) Do not reach underneath the workpiece.The guard cannot protect you from theblade below the workpiece.3) Adjust the cutting depth to the thicknessof the workpiece. Less than a full tooth ofthe blade teeth should be visible below thework-piece.4) Never hold piece being cut in your handsor across your leg. Secure the workpieceto a stable platform. It is important tosupport the work properly to minimize bodyexposure, blade binding, or loss of control.5) Hold power tool by insulated grippingsurfaces when performing an operationwhere the cutting tool may contacthidden wiring or its own cord. Contactwith a “live” wire will also make exposedmetal parts of the power tool “live” andshock the operator.6) When ripping always use a rip fence orstraight edge guide. This improves theac-curacy of cut and reduces the chance ofblade binding.7) Always use blades with correct sizeand shape (diamond versus round) ofarbour holes. Blades that do not matchthe mounting hardware of the saw will runeccentrically, causing loss of control.8) Never use damaged or incorrect bladewashers or bolt. The blade washers andbolt were specially designed for your saw,for optimum performance and safety ofoperation.
