10EnglishMaintenance of the hair dryer• Make sure to turn OFF the power switch and disconnect theplug from the household outlet. (Except when performingmaintenance on the air outlet)Maintaining the hair dryerClean the main body when the hair dryer gets dirty.Clean the housing only with a soft cloth slightly dampenedwith tap water or soapy tap water.►Notes• Do not use alcohol, polish remover, or detergent (liquid handsoap, etc.).- Doing so may cause malfunction, cracking/discoloration ofparts etc.• Leaving the hair dryer with hair products or makeup stilladhered to the handle or body may degrade the plastic,causing discoloration or cracking, and malfunction.Maintaining the nanoe™ outletClean the nanoe™ outlet about once a month.• Use commercially available cotton swabs. (We recommendthe thin cotton swabs made for use with babies.)• This maintenance allows the hair dryer to sustain thegenerated level of nanoe™ over a long period.1. Dampen the end of the cottonswab with tap water.2. Softly insert the cotton swab untilit stops (approx. 1 cm (3/8˝)), andturn it softly for 2 or 3 times.nanoe™ outletGently rub the tip ofthe needle portionAbout nanoe™What is nanoe™?(nanoe™ generation method: High‑voltage discharge)nanoe™ is water‑wrapped particulate ion, generated byapplying high voltage to split water. Its diameter is smaller than1/100 of steam, and it cannot be seen with the naked eye.Since nanoe™ is generated by collecting water in the air, itmay be difficult to generate in certain cases depending on theenvironment.(It is harder to collect water in the air when it is cold andhumidity is low.)How nanoe™ worksGenerally hair has properties which make it easy to becomepositively charged with electricity.
