Suspending the Indoor UnitDepending on the ceiling type:● Insert suspension bolts as shown in Fig. 3-3Fig. 3-3or● Use existing ceiling supports or construct a suitable supportas shown in Fig. 3-4.Fig. 3-4WARNINGIt is important that you use extreme care in supportingthe indoor unit from the ceiling. Ensure that the ceiling isstrong enough to support the weight of the unit. Beforehanging the unit, test the strength of each attachedsuspension bolt.(1) Before suspending the unit from the ceiling, determine thepitch of the suspension bolts referring to the dimensionaldata given previously. (Figs. 3-1 and 3-2)(2) Screw in the suspension bolts allowing them to protrudefrom the ceiling as shown in Fig. 3-3. (Cut the ceilingmaterial, if necessary.)(3) Suspend and fix the indoor unit as shown in Fig. 3-6 usingvibration absorbers, sound insulation brackets and thematerial shown in Fig. 3-5.
