Watching broadcastsSQT080730Watching broadcastsThis unit temporarily saves a live TV programmeyou are watching with this unit’s tuner on HDD.REWIND LIVE TVYou can rewind live TV programme to the pointwhere temporary save has started (up to1.5 hours).• REWIND LIVE TV does not work when watchinga programme via external input.PAUSE LIVE TVYou can pause live TV programme and restartwatching from the paused position.While pausing or rewinding a broadcast:Press [STATUS ].• Press [STATUS ] again.While pausing a programme via external input:Press [STATUS ] twice.1 The time that you can rewind the liveprogramme.2 The amount of time temporarily saved onHDD.3 The time of the current playback position.To stop REWIND LIVE TV or PAUSE LIVE TV1 Press [STOP ∫].2 Select “Yes”, then press [OK].To hide the display informationPress [EXIT ].• Temporary save stops in the following cases:- When switching to other channels or other screen- When the unit has started recording using all tuners- When performing PAUSE LIVE TV or REWIND LIVE TVfor more than 8 hours (This may vary depending on theHDD free space.)• These functions do not work in the following cases:- When the clock is not set- When setting clock manually (Contents protected title(Retention limit) only) (> 15)- When all tuners are being used to record programmes- While copying- While watching a programme being recorded- When a radio programme is selected- While watching an encrypted programme- REWIND LIVE TV:When “REWIND LIVE TV” is set to “Off” (> 89)- PAUSE LIVE TV:When a timer recording via external input is started whilewatching a programme via external input.REWIND LIVE TV/PAUSE LIVE TV1 While watching TVREWIND LIVE TV:Press [SLOW/SEARCH 6] to rewind.PAUSE LIVE TV:Press [PAUSE ;] to pause.• The maximum amount of the temporarysave is 1.5 hours.2 When you want to resume:Press [PLAY/a1.3 1].• You can perform search or Quick View, etc.• If temporary save stops (> right), playbackwill be performed by that point.Display informationPause 8:05 9:358:50 8:50:55 06.01.2015Play8:50.508:50:55 06.01.2015Play8:50.50
