Read and understand all instructions.2. Keep these instructions.3. Heed all warnings.4. Follow all instructions.5. Attach the Safety Wire to the camera to prevent it from dropping.6. After taking away the sand or the dust on the lens cover, wipe the lenscover with a dry cloth.7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance withinstructions.8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.9. Protect the AC adaptor cord, the AC cord and the extension cord frombeing walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conveniencereceptacles, and the point where they exit from the unit.10. The AC cord is used as the main disconnect device. Ensure that thesocket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easilyaccessible.11. Only use attachments/accessories (such as the safety wire) specified bythe manufacturer.12. Do not touch the unit, the LAN cable, the AC adaptor, the AC adaptorcord, the AC cord and the extension cord during lightning storms.13. Unplug the unit from power supply when unused for long periods of time.14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is requiredwhen the unit has been damaged in any way, such as when the ACadaptor, the AC adaptor cord, or the AC cord is damaged, the unit doesnot operate normally, or has been dropped.15. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or halogen light may damage theimage sensor.16. The camera is intended for indoor use only.17. Keep the SD memory card (customer-provided) out of reach of childrento prevent swallowing.18. Unplug this unit from power supply if it emits smoke, an abnormal smellor makes unusual noise. These conditions can cause fire or electricshock. Confirm that smoke has stopped and contact an authorizedservice center.19. If for some reason the camera is no longer used, uninstall the camera toavoid the risk of the camera falling.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONSOther InformationCAUTION:• Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the partyresponsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate theequipment.• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back).• The camera is to be connected only to PoE networks without routing tothe outside plant when using PoE.Environment:Do not install the camera where the temperature is less than +0 °C or greaterthan +40 °C. Allow 10 cm clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.Avoid excessive smoke, dust, mechanical vibration, shock, or direct sunlight.Routine care:Wipe the unit with a soft cloth. Do not use benzine, thinner, or any abrasivepowder.When you leave the unit unused for a long period of time, disconnect the LANcable (when using PoE) from the camera, or disconnect the AC adaptor fromthe outlet (when using the optional AC adaptor).If you have any problems:Consult an authorized service center.Security CautionsWhen using this product, take appropriate measures to avoid the followingsecurity breaches.• Disclosure of private information via this product• Unauthorized use of this product by a third party• Interference or suspension of the use of this product by a third partyYou are responsible for the security of this product and its use. Take thefollowing measures to avoid security breaches.• To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure of private information, orinterference or suspension of access to the camera, make sure thecamera’s firmware is up to date.• Do not reveal the user names and passwords required to access thecamera to an unknown party.• If you choose to configure this product to allow access to parties withoutthe need to enter a user name and password (i.e., guest users), be awarethat unknown parties may access this product.• Do not upload images produced by this product or otherwise releaseinformation where it may be accessed by unknown parties.• Mount the camera where the camera will not be stolen.• When sending this product for service or transferring this product toanother party, make backup copies of its setup files, and reset this productto its factory default settings.• When disposing of this product, reset the product to its factory defaultsettings, or erase the product’s memory by means of electrical deletion orphysical dismantlement.• After the camera is accessed by the administrator, make sure to close thebrowser for added security.• Change the administrator password periodically for added security.User Name and Password ProtectionThe use of unique user names and secret passwords is an importanttool that will help limit unauthorized individuals from accessing thecamera.
