If you do not have one, subscribeat www.joip.comYou can make internet calls with yourcellular phone via the base unit. First,call your unit’s answering system bydialing the additional phone number yousubscribed at www.joip.comNext, dial the phone number you want tocall. You can make cheaper internationalcalls, even while you are out.Perform the following beforehand,otherwise you cannot use this feature.– Set your own remote code of theanswering system other than “111”(default) for security (page 64).– Turn on the answering system for theIP line (page 58).1 Dial the phone number yousubscribed at www.joip.com2 After the greeting message starts,enter your remote code of theanswering system (page 64).3 {#}{9}4 After the dial tone sounds, dial thephone number you want to call. i{#}L The phone number is dialed viathe IP line.5 When you finish talking, hang up.Note:L The handset or base unit cannot jointhe call.Turning this feature on or offfThe default setting is ON.
