BASIC OPERATIONSBASICOPERATIONS35Original (Text/Photo)The Original setting is useful when sending photographs or illustrations with gray tones. Your machine ispreset to "TEXT". You can select either "TEXT/PHOTO" or "PHOTO" mode.Verification StampThe Verification Stamp helps you to confirm successful transmissions by stamping the bottom of eachsuccessfully transmitted page with a small mark.(see Note 1) (see Note 2) (see Note 3)NOTE1. When you select TEXT/PHOTO, or PHOTO, you machine will automatically select Fine Resolution.2. When you store document(s) into memory, the Verification Stamp will stamp on the original if it is successfullystored into memory. In this case the Verification Stamp is not a confirmation that the document was successfullytransmitted. If you wish to disable the use of the Verification Stamp when storing document(s) into memory,change the setting of Fax Parameter No. 028. (See page 29)3.
