Dial can be set to 0 as a precaution.3.2 NMEA2000® Device InstanceEach 3185 J1939 to NMEA2000® Adaptor connected to the NMEA2000® network needs to havea unique Device Instance Address. The Device Instance of each unit is set by turning the smallrotary switch with a small screw driver.
