Installationand MaintenanceIntroductionThe Genie / TOPS range of toilet and bathroomunits has been specifically designed to ventilatesmall rooms such as toilets, bathrooms,cloakrooms etc.Measuring a compact 200mm x 173mm x 120mmthe units deliver 25 l/s via a 100mm dia. outletfitted to the rear face.Air entering the unit passes through a washablefilter fitted to the front cover.Anti- backdraught shutters, retained in the closedposition when fan is not running, are fitted to thebase plate.Motor has sealed, self-lubricating bearings and'Heatseeker' thermal overload protection.The fan / motor assembly is retained by springclips to simplify maintenance.As a safety feature the fan / motor assembly isautomatically disconnected when the electroniccontrol module is removed.All models incorporate a LED run indicator.The unit is actuated by a passive infra red PIRdetector, mounted on the front cover. Remove cover/grille assembly by depressingthe top & bottom retaining tabs.2. Remove the plug-in electronic control module .(Fig. 4)3. Remove the fan / motor assembly by pullingaside the two spring clips.4.
