7I. PREPARATIONB. AssemblyThe self-propelled concrete saws are shipped completely assembled andready for use except for diamond blade, gasoline, oil, and handle bar. Inspectthe saw for shipping damage. If any damage is found, contact the shipperimmediately and file a freight claim. The Norton Company is not responsiblefor any freight-related damages. Remove the saw from the pallet. Reversethe position of the handlebars so that the handle bar sticks out towards theoperator. Adjust the handlebars to the desired height. Attach the handlebarsto the saw with the supplied hardware. For electric start models fill and checkthe electrolyte level and charge the battery. Read and understand theremaining sections of this Owners Manual. NOTE: Do not install the bladeuntil it is time to use the saw. ANSI regulations prohibit the transportation ofany concrete saw with the blade installed.
