14ClosedInstallation Instructions for XL, EX & NX ModelsInstalling the Hi-Lite XL, EX & NXOnce you have decided where to place the fixture(s),you can easily install it by following these simple steps.INSTALL THE CADDY CLAMP1. Remove all adjacent ceiling tiles.2. Locate structure to which the safety cable will befastened.3. Choose the proper Caddy Clamp designed for yourceiling grid. Use IDS-2 for 15/16” wide grid and IDS-9and IDS-9.5 for 9/16” wide applications.4. Insert the 2” carriage bolt through one-half of theCaddy Clamp, then close each half around the ceilingT-bar using the safety catch. (Pliers may be requiredto close the two halves of the Caddy Clamp.)
