The docking station setup utility installs the following ontoyour NEC Versa 6000 hard disk drive:n Online Docking Station User’s Guide (called the Docking Station Guide)n Intel Plug and Play Kit (Windows for Workgroups systems only)n EZ-SCSI driversn Docking Station drivers and message handler.To set up your docking station, go to one of the following sections in thischapter:n Go to “Running the Setup Utility.”n If you are extremely familiar with software setup programs and the NECVersa family of computers, the “Quick Start” section at the end of thischapter may be all you need.PLUG AND PLAY SYSTEMSPlug and Play systems, like the NEC Versa 6000 with the Windows 95operating system and Plug and Play BIOS, require no special softwareinstallation. To install the online version of the docking station user’s guideon your NEC Versa, simply follow the instructions in “Running the SetupUtility.”The NEC Versa 6000 with Windows 95 as its operating system supportsPlug and Play options in the docking station. Simply install the option, dockthe NEC Versa 6000, and reboot the system. The option is automaticallyconfigured. (Some options may require that you install specific option driv-ers.
