1 DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL 1-3, COAXIAL 1-3) : Connect to theoptical or coaxial S/PDIF-format digital output of sources such as CD orDVD players, HDTV or satellite tuners and other components. Coaxialand Optical digital input association is configurable via the Setup Menu.DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL, COAXIAL) : Connect the optical orcoaxial digital OUT ports to the corresponding S/PDIF digital input ofa recording component such as a CD recorder, DAT deck, computersoundcard or other digital processors.2 HDMI (HDMI 1-4, HDMI MONITOR OUT) : Connect HDMI inputs tothe HDMI OUT connectors of source components such as DVD player orHDTV satellite/cable box. Connect the HDMI Monitor OUT to a HDTV orprojector with HDMI input.WARNINGBefore connecting and disconnecting any HDMI cables, both the T 775and the ancillary source must be powered OFF and unplugged from theAC outlet. Failure to observe this practice may cause permanent damageto all equipment connected via HDMI sockets.3 COMPONENT VIDEO 1-3 IN, COMPONENT VIDEO OUT : Connectthe Component Video IN 1-3 inputs to Component Video outputsfrom compatible source components, typically a DVD player andterrestrial or satellite HDTV tuner. Connect Component Video OUT tothe Component Video input of a compatible video monitor/TV. Besure to observe consistency in connecting the Y/Pb/Pr jacks to thecorresponding sources/inputs. The routing of the component videoinputs is fully configurable via the Setup Menu. The T 775’s componentvideo inputs and outputs are fully wideband and compatible withallowable HDTV formats.4 MP DOCK: The T 775 is equipped with a data port in the rear panelwhere an optional NAD IPD (NAD IPD Dock for iPod), NAD IPD 2 andlater variants can be plugged in. Connect the “MP DOCK (DATA PORT)”jack of the T 775 to the corresponding “DATA PORT” socket of theoptional NAD IPD model. Refer also to the item about “LISTENING TOYOUR iPod PLAYER” under the “USING THE T 775 - AM/FM/DB/iPod”segment of the “OPERATION” section.NOTEThe external “NAD IPD Dock for iPod” (NAD IPD) model is not suppliedwith your T 775.IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLSREAR PANELATTENTION!Please make sure that the T 775 is powered off or unplugged before making any connections.
