Prepare a hole in the panel with the dimensions shown on the left. Insert the GOT from the front of thepanel or the control cabinet intothe cut out. Place the mounting fittings (sup-plied) into the provided openingsof the GOT and tighten the screwsuntil the GOT is fixed. Please use allfour supplied mounting fittingsand tighten the mounting screwswith a torque of 0.36 to 0.48 Nm. After mounting, remove the protection film from the operator terminal display.Power Supply WiringConnect the power supply to the power terminals on the back panel of the GOT.Use the thickest cable possible (max. 2 mm 2) to minimize the voltage drop andstart twisting them close to the connection terminals. Tighten the terminalscrews securely with a torque of 0.5 to 0.6 Nm.Use commercially available ferrules with plastic sleeve for connection of thepower supply (see figure below).GroundingGround the GOT using the ground terminal at the lower left corner of the oper-ator terminal (Refer to the figure at the top of this column).● The grounding resistance should be 100 or less.● The grounding point should be close to the GOT. Keep the grounding wiresas short as possible.● The ground wire size should be at least 2 mm 2.● Independent grounding should be performed for best results. When inde-pendent grounding is not performed, perform "shared grounding" of thefollowing figure.Connection to the Control SystemAn operator panel of the GOT2000 series can be connected not only to PLCsfrom Mitsubishi Electric but also to inverters, servo amplifiers, CNC as well andto PLCs from third party manufacturers and many other devices. For furtherinformation please refer to the Connection Manual for the GOT2000 series.P DANGER:Personnel health and injury warnings.Failure to observe the precautions described here can resultin serious health and injury hazards.E CAUTION:Equipment and property damage warnings.Failure to observe the precautions described here can resultin serious damage to the equipment or other property.Distances to otherdevicesMinimum clearances [mm]A B C D EGS2110, GS2107 50 80 50 50 100All dimensions are in „mm“.562142726GS2110All dimensions are in „mm“.501552066GS2107A space of at least 10 mm at theupper and lower side of theGOT is required to allow for theattachment of mounting fix-tures.GOT Cut Out [mm]A BGS2110 258 +2 200+2GS2107 191 +2 137+210 or more10 or moreUnit: mm AB–0–0–0–0BDGOTPanel*AC EOther deviceP DANGER● Switch OFF the power supply of the operator terminal before startingthe installation work or wiring and before mounting or removing theoption function board.● When the communication between the operation terminal and thePLC fails it is impossible to operate keys or devices via the operationterminal.
