Installation Instructions Section 22-10 Part Number 000002477 3/08Step 2 Install front support and filler panels.A. Remove foam tape from front support location.B. Set front support in place and install foam tape.C. Position filler panels (align with front support),drill and secure.D. Install foam tape on front and back. Seal allfoam tape edges.Step 3 Install ice deflector.A. Locate center of ice machine drop zone (centeris 11” from left edge of ice machine to left edgeof bracket).B. Cut and remove foam tape on the front and theback of the bin where the deflector will belocated.C. Remove any residual adhesive; areas must beclean and dry.D. Remove protective covering from double sidedtape on bottom of deflector bracket.E. Install deflector bracket; Distribute equally to thefront and back and locate pin to the rear.F. Apply foam tape over bracket and seal jointswith silicone sealant.G. Refer to illustration and install deflector inmounting bracket.Dispenser InstallationNo deflector is needed for machines that match the sizeof the dispenser (30” head section on a 30” dispenser)unless required by the dispenser manufacturer.Adapters are required when a smaller ice machine isgoing on a larger dispenser (22” machine on a 30”dispenser).IB0600C/IB0800C/IB1000CSecuring the Ice Machine to the DispenserThe ice machine and adapter plate must be secured tothe dispenser to prevent tipping.• Two holes are located in the front bottom rail of theice machine, to allow attachment to the adapterplate.• The adapter cover must be secured to the dispenserto prevent ice from dislodging the cover duringagitation.1. SLIDE FORWARD2. LOCK IN PLACE WITH PINImportantManitowoc Ice/Beverage Ice Machines require anadapter for mounting. Adapters are not includedwith the ice machine, dispenser or bin and must beordered separately. When a non-Manitowoc adapteris used, verify the adapter is compatible withManitowoc Ice/Beverage Ice Machines prior toinstallation.! WarningThe ice machine and adapter plate must be securedto the dispenser to prevent tipping.
