5.1 Safe working when setting up the applianceFor your safetyBefore starting work, familiarize yourself with the hazards described in 'Hazards and safety precau‐tions when setting up the appliance on page 29'.Eligibility of personnel for setting up the appliancePersonnel eligible for setting up the appliance:Only qualified personnel from an authorized service company are permitted to set up the appli‐ance.Regulations for setting up the applianceLocal and national standards and regulations relating to workplaces in catering kitchens must be ob‐served.The rules and regulations of the local authorities and supply companies that apply to the installationlocation concerned must be observed.Personal protective equipmentWear the personal protective equipment specified in the section 'Personal protective equipment onpage 43' of the 'For your safety' chapter for the relevant tasks.Moving heavy loadsRisk of injury from lifting incorrectlyWhen lifting the appliance, the weight of the appliance may lead to injuries, especially in the area ofthe torso.Use a forklift truck or pallet truck to place the appliance in the installation position or to move it to anew position.To shift the appliance into the correct position, lift the appliance using enough people for the weightof the appliance (guide value: 15 to 55 kg max., depending on age and gender).
