Pilot lamp 2. RESET (R) button 3. TEST (T)buttonThe tool is equipped with either of Ground Fault CircuitInterrupter (GFCI) illustrated.Connect the tool to a power supply and test the GroundFault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) before using the tool.Push the RESET (R) button and confirm that the pilotlamp lights. Push the TEST (T) button and confirm thatthe pilot lamp goes out. Push the RESET (R) buttonagain to use the tool.WARNING:• Do not use the tool if the pilot lamp does notgo out when the TEST (T) button is pushed.Shaft lock1► 1. Shaft lockCAUTION:• Never actuate the shaft lock when the spindle ismoving. The tool may be damaged.Press the shaft lock to prevent spindle rotation wheninstalling or removing accessories.Switch action1 2► 1. Lock button 2. Switch triggerCAUTION:• Before plugging in the tool, always check to seethat the switch trigger actuates properly andreturns to the "OFF" position when released.• Switch can be locked in "ON" position for easeof operator comfort during extended use. Applycaution when locking tool in "ON" position andmaintain firm grasp on tool.To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Releasethe switch trigger to stop.For continuous operation, pull the switch trigger andthen push in the lock button.To stop the tool from the locked position, pull the switchtrigger fully, then release it.
