Donot dispose of electrical and electronicappliances or batteries with householdwaste! In accordance with the EuropeanDirective on waste electrical and electronicequipment and on accumulators andbatteries and waste accumulators andbatteries, as well as their adaptation tonational law, waste electrical equipment,batteries and accumulators should bestored separately and delivered to aseparate collection point for municipalwaste, operating in accordance with theregulations on environmental protection.This is indicated by the symbol of thecrossed-out wheeled bin placed on theequipment.• Optical Radiation (UV and IR).Minimize exposure to eyes or skin.• Do not stare at operating lamp.• Use appropriate shielding or eyes protection.• Take particular care and attention!IMPORTANT SAFETYINSTRUCTIONSWARNING: When using appliances, basic safetyprecautions should always be followed to reduce therisk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, includingthe following:READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.1. Do not look into the light, or do not expose the light toeyes. Eyes may be damaged.2. Do not cover the lamp with cloth or carton, etc.Otherwise it may cause a flame.3. Do not expose it to rain or snow. Do not wash it inwater.4. Do not touch the inside of the appliance withtweezers, metal tools, etc.5. When the appliance is not in use, always switch offand remove the battery cartridge from the appliance.6. Do not give the appliance a shock by dropping,striking, etc.7. Safety information for portable luminaires withbatteries.• Battery disposal should be in compliance withyour local regulations that address the disposal ofhazardous materials.• Do not incinerate the battery.8. Additional information for luminaires.• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable;when the light source reaches its end of life the wholeluminaire shall be replaced.9. Battery tool use and care.• WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions.Failure to follow the warnings and instructions mayresult in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch isin the off-position before connecting to battery pack,picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying theappliance with your finger on the switch or energizingappliance that have the switch on invites accidents.• Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance beforemaking any adjustments, changing accessories, orstoring appliance. Such preventive safety measuresreduce the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.• Recharge only with the charger specified by themanufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type ofbattery pack may create a risk of fire when used withanother battery pack.• Use appliances only with specifically designatedbattery packs. Use of any other battery packs maycreate a risk of injury and fire.• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away fromother metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,screws or other small metal objects, that can make aconnection from one terminal to another. Shorting thebattery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected fromthe battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentallyoccurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from thebattery may cause irritation or burns.• Do not use a battery pack or appliance that isdamaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteriesmay exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,explosion or risk of injury.• Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fireor excessive temperature. Exposure to fire ortemperature above 130 °C (265 °F) may causeexplosion.• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge thebattery pack or appliance outside of the temperaturerange specified in the instructions. Chargingimproperly or at temperatures outside of the specifiedrange may damage the battery and increase the riskof fire.• Have servicing performed by a qualified repair personusing only identical replacement parts. This will ensurethat the safety of the product is maintained.• Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or thebattery pack except as indicated in the instructions foruse and care.10. Important safety instructions for battery cartridge.• Before using battery cartridge, read all instructionsand cautionary markings on (1) battery charger,(2) battery, and (3) product using battery.• Do not disassemble or tamper the battery cartridge. Itmay result in a fire, excessive heat, or explosion.• If operating time has become excessively shorter,stop operating immediately. It may result in a risk ofoverheating, possible burns and even an explosion. |
