8WARNING:• After installing a new blade and with the toolunplugged, always be sure that the blade doesnot contact any part of the lower base when thehandle is lowered completely. If a blade makescontact with the base it may cause kickback andresult in serious personal injury.Stopper arm1 2010233The lower limit position of the blade can be easilyadjusted with the stopper arm. To adjust it, move thestopper arm in the direction of the arrow as shown in thefigure. Adjust the adjusting screw so that the blade stopsat the desired position when lowering the handle fully.Adjusting the miter angle1234010409Loosen the grip by turning counterclockwise. Turn theturn base while pressing down the lock lever. When youhave moved the grip to the position where the pointerpoints to the desired angle on the miter scale, securelytighten the grip clockwise.CAUTION:• After changing the miter angle, always secure theturn base by tightening the grip firmly.NOTICE:• When turning the turn base, be sure to raise thehandle fully.Adjusting the bevel angle1011337To adjust the bevel angle, loosen the lever at the rear ofthe tool counterclockwise. Unlock the arm by pushing thehandle somewhat strongly in the direction that you intendto tilt the saw blade.NOTE:• Lever can be adjusted to a different lever angle byremoving the screw holding the lever and securingthe lever at a desired angle.1234011336Tilt the saw blade until the pointer points to the desiredangle on the bevel scale. Then tighten the leverclockwise firmly to secure the arm.1011337When tilting the carriage to the right, tilt the carriage tothe left slightly after loosening the lever and press thereleasing button.
