Connect dust extraction equipmentIf devices are provided for the connection of dustextraction and collection facilities, ensure these areconnected and properly used.11. Don’t abuse cordNever carry tool by cord or yank it to disconnect itfrom receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharpedges.12. Secure workUse clamps or a vise to hold work. Keep handles dry, cleanand free from oil and grease.15. Disconnect toolsWhen not in use, before servicing, and when chang-ing accessories such as blades, bits and cutters.16. Remove adjusting keys and wrenchesForm the habit of checking to see that keys andadjusting wrenches are removed from tool beforeturning it on.17. Avoid unintentional startingDon’t carry plugged-in tool with finger on switch. Besure switch is off when plugging in.18. Have defectiveswitches replaced by and authorized service center.Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on and off.21.
