Do not modify or attempt to repair the appli-ance or the battery pack except as indicated inthe instructions for use and care.Cordless mixer safety warnings1. Hold the tool with both hands at the intendedhandles. Loss of control can cause personalinjury.2. Ensure sufficient ventilation when mixing flam-mable materials to avoid a hazardous atmo-sphere. Developing vapour may be inhaled or beignited by the sparks the power tool produces.3. Do not mix food. Power tools and their accesso-ries are not designed for processing food.4. Ensure that the mixing container is placed in afirm and secure position. A container that is notproperly secured may move unexpectedly.5. Follow the instructions and warnings for thematerial to be mixed. Material to be mixed maybe harmful.6. Do not reach into the mixing container withyour hands or insert any other objects into itwhile mixing. Contact with the mixer blade maylead to serious personal injury.7. Start up and run down the tool in the mixingcontainer only. The mixer blade may bend or spinin an uncontrolled manner.8. Ensure that no liquid splashes against the hous-ing of the power tool. Liquid that has penetratedthe power tool can cause damage to the tool.9. Use auxiliary handles, if supplied with the tool.Loss of control may cause personal injury.10. Hold power tool by insulated gripping sur-faces, when performing an operation wherethe cutting accessory may contact hiddenwiring. Cutting accessory contacting a "live"wire may make exposed metal parts of the powertool "live" and could give the operator an electricshock.11. Always be sure you have a firm footing. Besure no one is below when using the tool inhigh locations.12. Hold the tool firmly.13. Keep hands away from rotating parts.14. Do not leave the tool running. Operate the toolonly when you are holding it.15. Some materials contain chemicals which maybe toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhala-tion and skin contact. Follow safety warningsby supplier of the material.16. Before using battery cartridge, read all instruc-tions and cautionary markings on (1) batterycharger, (2) battery, and (3) product using battery.2. Do not disassemble or tamper with the battery car-tridge. It may result in a fire, excessive heat, or explosion.3. If operating time has become excessively shorter,stop operating immediately. It may result in a risk ofoverheating, possible burns and even an explosion.4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them outwith clear water and seek medical attention rightaway. It may result in loss of your eyesight.5. Do not short the battery cartridge:(1) Do not touch the terminals with any con-ductive material.(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a con-tainer with other metal objects such asnails, coins, etc.(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to wateror rain.A battery short can cause a large currentflow, overheating, possible burns and even abreakdown.6. Do not store and use the tool and battery car-tridge in locations where the temperature mayreach or exceed 50 °C (122 °F).7. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even ifit is severely damaged or is completely wornout. The battery cartridge can explode in a fire.8. Do not nail, cut, crush, throw, drop the batterycartridge, or hit against a hard object to thebattery cartridge. Such conduct may result in afire, excessive heat, or explosion.9. Do not use a damaged battery.10. The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject tothe Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements.For commercial transports e.g. by third parties,forwarding agents, special requirement on pack-aging and labeling must be observed.For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting anexpert for hazardous material is required. Please alsoobserve possibly more detailed national regulations.Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up thebattery in such a manner that it cannot movearound in the packaging. |
