MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE24DAILY INSPECTIONBefore running the generator, check the following service items:Excessive vibration,noiseClean air cleaner elementSafe surroundingsEnough clean engine oilLeakage of gasoline and engine oilLoose or broken bolts and nutsEnough gasolinePERIODIC MAINTENANCEPeriodic maintenance is vital to safe and efficient operation of your generator.Check the table below for periodic maintenance intervals.IT IS ALSO NECESSARY FOR THE USER OF THIS GENERATOR TOCONDUCT THE MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS ON THE EMISSION-RELATED PARTS LISTED BELOW TO KEEP THE EMISSION CONTROLSYSTEM EFFECTIVE.The emission control system consists of the following parts :The maintenance schedule indicated in the table is based on the normal generatoroperation. Should the generator be operated in extremely dusty condition or inheavier loading condition, the maintenance intervals must be shortened dependingon the contamination of oil, clogging of filter elements, wear of parts, and so on.(1) Carburetor and internalparts(2) Cold start enrichmentsystem, if applicable(3) Intake manifold, ifapplicable(4) Air cleaner elements(5) Spark plug(6) Magneto or electronicignition system(7) Spark advance/retardsystem, if applicable(8) Exhaust manifold, ifapplicable(9) Hoses, belts,connectors, andassembliesMAINTENANCE, REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE EMISSION CONTROL DEVICESAND SYSTEMS MAY BE PERFORMED BY ANY NONROAD ENGINE REPAIRESTABLISHMENT OR INDIVIDUAL.
