12 ENGLISHEmptying the tankWARNING: Always make sure that thecleaner is switched off and the battery cartridgeis removed before emptying the tank. Failure to doso may cause an electric shock and serious personalinjury.CAUTION: Do not apply a great impact onthe tank. A great impact may cause deformation anddamage to the parts.CAUTION: Empty the tank at least once a dayalthough this depends on picked-up dust volumein the tank. Or, the suction force will weaken and themotor may be broken.CAUTION: Do not grab the hook when empty-ing the tank. Grabbing the hook may cause the hookto break.Unhook and lift up the tank cover.Shake off the dust from the HEPA filter and then dis-pose of the dust from the tank.► Fig.16: 1. Hook 2. TankCleaning of HEPA filterNOTICE: Do not rub or scratch the HEPA filterwith hard objects such as a brush and a paddle.Clogged HEPA filter cause poor suction performance.Clean out the filter from time to time.1. To remove the HEPA filter, unlock and remove thetank cover.2. Turn the HEPA filter counterclockwise and pull outof the tank cover.► Fig.17: 1. Tank cover 2. HEPA filter 3. Tank3. To remove dust adhering to the HEPA filter, shakethe frame bottom quickly several times.Occasionally wash the HEPA filter in water, rinse anddry thoroughly in the shade before use. Never wash thefilter in a washing machine.► Fig.184. To install the HEPA filter, place and twist it clock-wise so that the securing lips are firmly locked in thetank cover.► Fig.19: 1. Tank cover 2.
