Otherwise the pipeholder will not be locked and the aluminum pipe maycome off.► Fig.5Installing or removing batterycartridgeCAUTION: Always switch off the appliancebefore installing or removing of the batterycartridge.CAUTION: Hold the cleaner and the batterycartridge firmly when installing or removing bat-tery cartridge. Failure to hold the cleaner and thebattery cartridge firmly may cause them to slip offyour hands and result in damage to the cleaner andbattery cartridge and a personal injury.CAUTION: Be careful not to pinch your fin-gers when opening or closing the battery cover.Failure to do so may cause personal injury.To install the battery cartridge, release the lock first, andthen open the battery cover. After that, insert the batterycartridge.► Fig.6: 1. Lock 2. Battery coverAlign the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groovein the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the wayuntil it locks in place with a little click. Then lock thebattery cover.► Fig.7: 1. Battery cartridge 2. ButtonTo remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the appli-ance while sliding the button in front of the cartridge.CAUTION: Always install the battery cartridgefully. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the appli-ance, causing injury to you or someone around you.CAUTION: Do not install the battery cartridgeforcibly. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, it isnot being inserted correctly.NOTE: The cleaner does not work with only onebattery cartridge.Installing the filter bagCAUTION: Do not use a damaged filter bag.Always use the vacuum cleaner with the filter bagproperly installed. Otherwise the vacuumed dustor particles may be exhausted from the cleanerand they may cause respiratory disease to theoperator.Install the filter bag before using cleaner.Filter bag is a throw-away type. Throw away the entirefilter bag without emptying when it has become full.NOTICE: When the filter bag is already full orclogged, replace with new one. Continuous usewith the filter bag full or clogged results in reducedsuction power.NOTICE: To prevent dust from getting into themotor:— Make sure that the filter bag is installedbefore use.— Do not use a broken or ripped bag.Otherwise the motor may be broken.NOTICE: Do not fold the cardboard at its open-ing when installing the filter bag.NOTICE: The filter bag for the cleaner is animportant component for maintaining the appli-ance performance. Using non-genuine filter bagmay cause smoke or ignition.NOTE: When the filter bag is not installed in the appli-ance, the dust box cover does not close completely.1. Unlock the lever and open the dust box cover.► Fig.8: 1. Lever 2. Dust box cover2. Unfold the filter bag fully.► Fig.93. Insert the filter bag into the slot on the holder sothat the side with mark enters first.4. Hook the latch of the holder.► Fig.10: 1. Slot 2. Filter bag 3. Holder 4. Latch5. Make sure that only the marking on the cardboardcan be seen through the slit of the holder.► Fig.11: 1. Marking 2. Slit6. Unfold the filter bag if it is folded.► Fig.127. Lock the dust box cover certainly.CAUTION: Be careful not to pinch your fin-gers when hooking the latch, and when closingthe dust box cover.Removing the filter bagCAUTION: Handle the filter bag softly.Otherwise foreign objects are blown into eyes, it mayresult in personal injury.Replace the filter bag when it becomes full or clogged.Open the dust box cover and open the latch, then takeout the filter bag.Pull the strip on the side of the opening to shut the filterbag and dispose of the filter bag in whole.► Fig.13: 1. Latch 2. StripNOTICE: Do not use a used filter bag. The filterbag is designed for single use. Using filter bag repeat-edly may cause clogging of the filter and results indamage to the appliance. |
