7 ENGLISHPairing and playing your Bluetoothdevice for the first time1. Press the Power button to turn on the speaker andthe ‘BT PAIR’ will appear on the display to show thespeaker is discoverable.2. Activate Bluetooth on your device according to thedevice's user manual to link to the speaker. Locatethe Bluetooth device list and select the device named‘DMR202’ with some mobiles (which are equipped withearlier versions than BT2.1 Bluetooth device), you mayneed to input the pass code “0000”.3. Once connected, there will be a beep sound and thedisplay will show ‘BT CONNECT’. You can simplyselect and play any music from your source device.Volume control can be adjusted from your sourcedevice, or directly from the speaker.4. Use the controls on your Bluetooth-enabled device oron the speaker to play/pause and navigate tracks.Note:1. If 2 Bluetooth devices, pairing for the first time, bothsearch for the speaker, it will show its availability onboth devices. However, if one device links with this unitfirst, then the other Bluetooth device won't find it on thelist.2. If your Bluetooth device is temporarily disconnected tothe speaker, then you need to manually reconnect yourdevice again to the speaker.3. If ‘DMR202’ shows in your Bluetooth device list butyour device cannot connect with it, please delete theitem from your list and pair the device with the speakeragain following the steps described previously.4. The effective operation range between the system andthe paired device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).Any obstacle between the system and the device canreduce the operational range.5. Bluetooth connectivity performance may varydepending on the connected Bluetooth devices. Pleaserefer to the Bluetooth capabilities of your device beforeconnecting to the speaker. All features may not besupported on some paired Bluetooth devices.Playing audio files in Bluetooth modeWhen you have successfully connected the speaker withthe chosen Bluetooth device, you can start to play yourmusic using the controls on your connected Bluetoothdevice.1. Once playing has started adjust the volume to therequired setting using the Volume buttons on thespeaker or on your enabled Bluetooth device.2. When you press the Volume up/down button, thevolume indicator will flash in fast flashing red. If theindicator light in solid red, it indicates the volume is inmaximum volume or minimum volume.3. Use the controls on your device to play/pause andnavigate tracks. Alternatively, control the playbackusing Play/Pause , Next track , Previous trackbuttons on the speaker.4. Press and hold the Next track or Previous buttonto fast-forward/Rewind the current track. Releasethe button when the desired point in the track isreached.Note:1. That not all player applications or devices may respondto all of these controls.2. Some mobile phones may temporarily disconnect fromthe speaker when you make or receive calls. Somedevices may temporarily mute their Bluetooth audiostreaming when they receive text messages, emails orfor other reasons unrelated to audio streaming. Suchbehaviour is a function of the connected device anddoes not indicate a fault with the speaker.3. The display does not show information such as title,artist, album, etc., when playing in Bluetooth mode.4. The play mode function (Repeat/Random) cannot beused in Bluetooth mode.Speaker memory and reconnectinga deviceThe speaker can memorize up to 8 sets of paired device,when the memory exceed this amount, the oldest pairinghistory will be over written. If your Bluetooth devicealready paired with the speaker previously, the unitwill memorize your Bluetooth device and it attemptsto reconnect with a device in memory which is lastconnected. If the last connected device is not available,the speaker will be discoverable.Disconnecting your Bluetooth devicePress and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for 2-3seconds to disconnect with your Bluetooth device. TheBluetooth indicator flashes in blue indicating the speakeris discoverable again for pairing.Playing music via auxiliary input socketA 3.5mm Auxiliary input socket is provided on the rightside of the unit to permit an audio signal to be fed into theunit from any devices that features a headphone or audiooutput, such as an iPod, MP3 or CD player.1. Connect a stereo or mono audio source (for example,iPod, MP3 or CD player) to the Auxiliary input socket(marked 'AUX') and the Aux in indicator turns greenindicating the speaker is in auxiliary input mode.2. Adjust the Volume control on your iPod, MP3 or CDplayer to ensure an adequate signal and then adjustthe volume on the speaker for comfortable listening.3. To have the better sound quality, we recommendsetting the volume to more than two-thirds level onyour audio device and then adjust the volume on thespeaker as required.Note:1. When Aux in socket is connected an audio device, thespeaker will be switched from Bluetooth to auxiliaryinput mode. You can also press the source button toselect your desired mode.2. The display does not show information such as title,artist, album, etc., when playing via auxiliary inputsocket.3. The playback or play mode cannot be controlled withthe buttons on the speaker, when playing via auxiliaryinput socket. |
