10 ENGLISHInstalling or removing the rod and piston1. Insert the rod from the rear side of the tool with itsteeth facing down.► Fig.13: 1. Long rod or black rodNOTICE: For 600 ml size holder, use the longrod. For 800 ml size holder, use the black rod.2. Attach the piston with the screw.► Fig.14: 1. Screw 2. Piston 3. Long rod or black rodTo remove the rod and piston, follow the installationprocedure in reverse.Installing or removing 600 ml or 800ml size holderCAUTION: Secure the holder to the holderjoint firmly. Otherwise the holder may come offduring operation and may cause an injury.To install the holder, turn it clockwise firmly until it stopswhile holding the holder joint.► Fig.15: 1. HolderTo remove the holder, follow the installation procedurein reverse.OPERATIONUsing cartridgePreparing cartridge for use1. Cut the tip of the cartridge nozzle so that the suit-able amount of caulking material is fed.► Fig.16: 1. Nozzle2. Make a hole on the protective film with the tip ofthe nozzle.► Fig.17: 1. Nozzle3. Attach the nozzle to the cartridge.NOTICE: Be sure to check the cartridge fordamage before installation. Using the damagedcartridge may cause malfunction.NOTICE: When reusing the partially used car-tridge, be sure to remove the solid caulking mate-rial before the installation.Installing cartridge to 300 ml sizeholderNOTICE: Make sure that piston A is attachedto the rod. Do not use other type of piston forcartridge.1. Pull the rod handle backward slowly until it stops.► Fig.18: 1. Rod handle2. Insert the cartridge into the holder as shown in thefigure.► Fig.193. Push the rod gently until the piston touches thebottom of cartridge.To remove the cartridge, follow the installation proce-dure in reverse.Installing cartridge to 600 ml or 800ml size holderNOTICE: Make sure that piston A (for 600 mlsize holder) or piston D (for 800 ml size holder) isattached to the rod. Pull the rod handle backward slowly until it stops.3. Insert the package into the holder.► Fig.25: 1. Holder4. Attach the rubber ring, nozzle, and holder cap byturning the holder cap firmly.► Fig.26: 1. Holder cap 2. Nozzle 3. Rubber ring4. Holder5. Push the rod gently until the piston touches thepackage.To remove the package, remove the holder cap, nozzle,rubber ring, and then push the rod handle forward untilit stops. |
